A sense of adventure!

Thanks to its alpine environment, the woodland climbing park inspires a real sense of adventure. Even as late as May there is often still snow to be seen on the surrounding mountaintops!

The climbing park, which naturally holds the required national certificate, is situated in a 100 year-old stand of fir trees.

Even small children from the age of 6 years can climb here.

There are several low-altitude routes for beginners, whilst intermediate climbers can scramble around on slightly more difficult slopes. The up to 15m high “XXL” route guarantees challenges for even the most advanced climbers.

A comfortable 10-minute ride on the Alpsee Bergwelt chairlift brings you to the “Bear Falls” climbing park. Or, if you prefer, you can walk up a lovely, well-marked path in approx. 45 minutes from the bottom station of the chairlift. The “Bear Falls” climbing park is also the starting point for numerous walks, mountain tours and mountain-bike routes of all standards.

A trip to “Bear Falls” climbing park is well worthwhile even if the sun isn’t shining! The trees give protection from adverse weather conditions and adequate shelter even from light rain. In hot weather they provide shade and ensure pleasantly cool temperatures.

Directly beside the climbing park is the Alpsee Coaster, a year-round toboggan run which, with a total length of 3 kilometres, is the longest of its type in Germany. Joint tickets for the chairlift, Coaster and climbing park offer a particularly economical way to combine visits to all three attractions.

The climbing park operates from the beginning of the Easter holidays until the middle of November. For groups of 10 or more we request advance notification, either by phone or email.
