You name it, we’ve got it! Enjoy an exciting ski safari in one of the well-known ski areas (Arlberg, Montafon, Klosters) or maybe a fairytale winter holiday without skis, featuring sleigh rides or snow-shoe walking; and in summer there’s nothing quite like a game of golf in a fabulous setting; just one leisure activity among the many on offer.

The towns of Bodolz, Lindau, Nonnenhorn and Wasserburg have a lot of things in common: unrivalled natural scenery, a fabulous lakeside position and a mild climate.

Now they have something else in common as well – the “Lake Constance in Bavaria” network of Nordic walking tracks, encompassing a total length of 130 kilometres.

Autenrieth sailing school

Autenrieth sailing school

This sailing and motorboat school is situated on the fabulous island of Lindau, on the harbour alongside the town’s symbolic lighthouse and rampart lion.

The school boats are moored at jetty no. 5, the very best place to enjoy Lindau’s fabulous harbour views.

An advertising slogan from the 50s and 60s proclaimed: “Southern Europe starts at Lake Constance!” Both locals and guests really enjoy the Mediterranean feel this region has. It is easy to see why the people of Konstanz smugly describe their town as the first place in northern Italy! Everyone appreciates the mild climate that Lake Constance enjoys, as well as that certain flair in the streets and squares, reminiscent of the atmosphere of an Italian piazza.
